Overview:


The Data feed Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of product data feeds to various online marketplaces and platforms. This role will involve close coordination with the Product Information Management (PIM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Integrator software to guarantee seamless data flow and optimal product presentation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data feed Verification:
  • Regularly review and verify product data feeds from the PIM to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Check for discrepancies or errors in product information, such as pricing, availability, descriptions, and images.


  • WMS Integration:
  • Coordinate with the WMS team to ensure that product data is accurately synchronized between the PIM and WMS systems.
  • Verify that inventory levels and product availability are correctly reflected in the data feeds.


  • Integrator Software Management:
  • Manage and optimize the integrator software used to transmit product data from supplier to various online marketplaces and platforms.
  • Ensure that the integrator software is configured correctly and that data is being transferred efficiently.


  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on product data to identify and address any issues.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent errors and maintain data integrity.
  • Check pricing by analysing existing data and target prices from customer.


  • Data Enrichment:
  • Assist in enriching product data with additional information, such as product attributes, keywords, and marketing copy.


  • Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve data feed issues promptly, working closely with the PIM, WMS, and integrator teams.


  • Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on data feed performance, including error rates, data quality metrics, and overall system health.

  • Strong understanding of product data management principles and practices.
  • Experience working with PIM, WMS, and integrator software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Additional Skills (Preferred):


  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
  • Experience with data cleaning and normalization techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
