The Supply Chain Analyst (Remote Operations) plays a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective flow of goods throughout the supply chain. This position will focus on remotely monitoring and analyzing warehouse operations, including pick and pack processes, goods receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and remote access technologies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Remote Monitoring of Warehouse Operations:
  • Utilize WMS and remote access tools to monitor real-time order fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, picking speed, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and analyze trends and patterns in operational performance.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstocks.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot operational issues that may arise during remote monitoring.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of operational problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and operational insights.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Prepare presentations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations to management.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity through process optimization and technology implementation.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of new warehouse technologies and systems.
